Reminds me of the big opening of the dinosaur exhibit at a museum in Atlanta. The big centerpiece brontosaur (or whatever that model is called), an herbivore according to the plaque description, had an obviously carnivore head/skull attached.

History is just the best guess unless you have someone to fill in the blanks. Yip yip yip yip yip
