DeSantis’ campaign, for political reasons, against a corporation which brings in hundreds of millions of dollars to his state’s economy and provides many jobs is making traditional Republicans very uneasy. I doubt it’s playing well in Florida and it will play even less well in a national campaign.
I don’t think there are any good guys here. Disney is an example of the corporate state. Politicians were happy to facilitate that. Now DeSantis doesn’t like (or pretends he doesn’t like) some of that government’s policies. And like any other government, Disney fights to stay “alive”. I see no reason to celebrate Disney’s legal maneuvers, any more than DeSantis’ political ploys.
I am so glad this has happened. It exposed DeSantis as having the same thin skin and the same fragile ego as the Orange Stain Skidmark. He’s a wannabe tyrant.
Oh, the terror! Disney is going to sue the governor of its state for performing an official act. Good luck with that. Democrats, take this little quiz with me. How many "Z"s are there in “Fat chance”?
Disney has been around a long time and will be around way after DeSantis has been long forgotten. Disneyworld in Florida is just a small part of Disney.

Disney has more money and lawyers than DeSantis — or even Florida.

And I’d say overall they use their money for a better purpose than Florida. Does Florida actually help any of their residents???
