Most of SCROTUS and especially Thomas and those religious cult members do not serve justice. Their concept of justice and ethics only translates into “We do only what benefits Just Us”

All the justices of the high court seem to have violated some code of conduct from time to time. Of note, though the lower courts have a code of conduct, the high court does not. No doubt SCOTUS considers itself able to govern itself. But, as we all know, given the opportunity to take advantage of a situation, we will, even if illegal. The justices may figure that the only ones to hold them accountable are the ones that voted them in, and that’s not likely.

Unfortunately, as our nation has stopped attending church, or other religious centers, we have also weakened our personal honesty. All of our troubles goes back to who we are, now.

    From the Google:

    Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely

    Definition:

Having power corrupts a man, or lessens his morality, and the more power a man has, the more corrupted he will become. This idiom means that those in power often do not have the people’s best interests in mind.

A part of SCROTUS is made up of a bought and paid for pretty much hollow figure and also several members who belong to an offshoot sect of Catholicism that is a virtual cult. Guess which party put those people there and also ignored the frat boy justice’s past and the sexual abuse complaints against more than 1 justice

How is a Supreme Court justice like an auctioneer? They both wield a gavel and sell out to the highest bidder. /s

If the court actually had integrity, it would, indeed, not need a code of ethics. But, since there is little integrity to be found, something else needs to be done. If the individual justices had integrity, they would recuse themselves to avoid even the slightest impression if bias or conflict. If they had integrity, they would refuse an appointment to a seat offered to them improperly. If they had integrity, they would decline to sit on a court they are under-qualified to serve on. It would seem the court itself should seek to police itself in these matters but has proven itself incapable of introspection. These are the highest legal positions in the nation, they should hold themselves to the highest standard possible to set the example for all others. That they do not illegitimises the court and our entire legal foundation.

Given that the entire Court signed off on Chief Justice Roberts’ letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, there are eight figures missing in the image.

When you make personal behavior, morals, and legality relative to the individual you create chaos. I can steal but you can’t, I can skip out of child support but you can’t, etc. We once believed in universal truths and natural law. We didn’t need so many laws as more of us were naturally law abiding. We have had great Supreme Court justices and some very lousy ones. Adopting a coded of conduct for the courts is a good idea. It is a good idea for all of us to be a moral society.

Trump Disciples all believe that George Soros contributed to a PAC that supported Alvin Bragg, and therefore controls Bragg.

They also believe that Harlan Crow’s direct gifts to Thomas have no influence whatsoever on Thomas.

Because It’s OKAY If A Republican Does It.

Seems there are some conservative judges that think they are above the law. Of course, this is what happens when a party, the Republican Party cheats it’s way into picking judges they had no right to pick. Time to kick the bums out and actually Make America Great Again. That won’t happen as long as we have judges pushing an idiotic false Religious agenda. Especially, since it’s not based on religion, but serving would be American Oligarchs. Time for some heavy fines on them as well. If nothing else, bring back the estate (make up for all the taxes avoided while alive) tax, and reset the tax code to at least around 1980.

Unless Thomas resigns under pressure from other members of the court, the court will never regain its lost legitamancy.
