Poor Goat just has nothing to say anymore.

That is supposed to be the job of the church. It is the message of Jesus – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).

Sadly, few people seek out God’s universal Truth. I am not talking about “religious” truths, or even “relevant” truths, but God’s Truth. You may disagree with me, you have that right, but you owe it to yourself to seek out what is True.

Unfortunately, everything will NOT be OK. A news report yesterday reported that the ice packs are melting faster than scientists thought. The biggest contributor to global warming is the dairy and cattle industries. They create more methane than the CO2 from all the cars, planes, and trains in the world, which is worse than CO2 for warming the planet. So, until people are willing to change their diets and give up hamburgers and dairy we are doomed.

Sadly an on-line date flashback … we met, walked to an isolated park bench, she soon told me a tale of family illness,’ I did not react, at lunch I spilled cold coffee on her, I bragged about fixing her printer, after, she showed negative body posture. I asked for a hug and she almost broke my ribs. And this lonely widower is no longer trying. No comfort for this dummy.
