Too bad his comfort comes at Jon’s expense.

Why I don’t think I could abide having a cat at the house…

Garfield just needed to get warm.

So nice of humans to provide such comfort.

Before computers, cats enjoyed sprawling across any book or magazine you were trying to read. Still do, actually. Or any board game that you’re trying to play.

As I recall, back when I used a typewriter, they would stay off the keyboard for that, probably because it was not at a comfortable angle. But they would sometimes bat at the carriage as it went back and forth.

Not owning a cat, or being owned by a cat, as it may be, I wonder if that behavior is attention seeking or perhaps a warm place to nap because of the heat of the laptop?

Every morning, my princess kitty cat LOVED it when she was on my laptop I missed her like crazy!!

I put a heating pad on my desk and turn it on when my cat jumps up. Took a little convincing, but now I have my laptop back!!!

Get off my keyboard, furball!

Garfield, Jon might be typing out a grocery list on his laptop. How can he finish it with you laying on the keys?

Lying on a laptop is KEY to success.

It allows an ESC, to get some SPACE, and to retake CTRL of life.

Presumably the alternative would’ve been whatever book/newspaper Jon was reading at the time

My computer desk has a shelf that slides in and out for the keyboard so my little girl Coco couldn’t lay on it, but what she like to do was jump on my desk and bat at my mouse with her tail if I didn’t start petting her right away. Boy do I miss her and my little buddy Peanut, ex husband has them.

I call it a naptop.

Computers get very warm if used after about an hour. Just be careful not to get too radiated.
