The presence of a priest at the grave should not have bothered me⊠Except. My wife is a lawyer. And, the Catholic diocese here was ordered by the courts to pay millions in victim restitution for years of abuse. Millions of dollars retirement fund for workers at a Catholic hospital âdisappearedâ. The diocese moved billions into a Catholic charity and declared bankruptcy âGee, weâre broke.â Of course the current New York bishop was promoted from Wisconsin where, when it owed victim restitution, he tried to hide the $ in a Catholic cemetery maintenance fund and declared, âGee, weâre broke.â Didnât fly in Wisconsin. Hope it doesnât fly here.
But if something is done deliberately it isnât a mistake, itâs fraud.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions but mistakes are the potholes. Iâve hit some humdingers. Is the road to heaven paved with bad intentions??

Jeb Bushâs answer was not wrong, but it was short and did not give people confidence in his knowledge about Iraq.

Perhaps mentioning the loss of the OceanGate Expeditionsâ submersible would be in bad taste.
