Okay, that settled the “Audie” question. He doesn’t seem to be experiencing any voices at the moment, or maybe just not answering. The one saying, “Look out for this guy” might be worth tuning in.
Apparently, Audie thinks that Anders had fled. I don’t know where he’s getting the money from by “tomorrow,” but he’d better make sure he has it.
He is Audie, the third panel is what we’ve seen previously. The reason for doubt is IMO is that he has a “blocky” head at the front but Shelly didn’t continue the features to the back of his head which made him look different and younger causing confusion of his identity for some of us, including myself.
Hold on here. I’ve been thinking (incorrectly, it seems) that Audie owes Madsen for being a hit man. But, since Madsen took out Anders on his own, why exactly does Audie owe Madsen money?
Well, this is my first post on my new PC! My previous one was teetering on the brink of obsolescence/breakdown, so I bit the bullet and replaced it. Arrived today from Amazon, 24 inch screen, reasonably priced, unbelievably easy setup, all systems go!!
Hmm. So, this Big Boss really is Audie, after all! Okay, I was wrong about that. But I still think the characterization of the last few days does not seem congruent with the earlier-depicted idiosyncrasies of Audie the audiodelusional self-conversing weird guy; this Audie is self-confident, focussed, and “all business” with no hint of the former persona; he also seems stockier than the original version of Audie, in my eyes.
Be all that as it may; Audie confirms that the available money was all sent to Anders, who he thinks is alive but fled. He does not know that Mad Madsen killed Anders and took the loot for himself. So far, so good (or “bad”). But where or how does Boss Audie expect to come up with a comparable pile of cash by (early) tomorrow?
And, will eavesdropping Sabrina rat out one or the other, or both, to avoid the threatened violence? Maybe we’ll find out in the Sunday strip….

Sabrina looks concerned. She should consult Sprocket, who might be looking for a handy film canister.

Good morning™, bad news announcers ? !
Did Sabs get news that Anders is fishbowl belly up ? Â I hope Madcaps can put on a good act of shock at this distressing news.

Hold up here! If Audie doesn’t have the money, how’s he gonna give it to Yellow Hair tomorrow? There could be trouble between the two soon.

Audie doesn’t look like somebody to mess with . Shelley Pleger has depicted him as very menacing and evil .

is going to be “Audie matic” that he’s going to double cross Masden? After all we all seem to think that’s what Masden is going to do to him.

This Madsen guy is high strung. In case he is a coffee drinker, I hope his preference is decaf.
