They obviously changed his appearance too, so he would fit into this world…Sterling looks nothing like his ‘real’ parents but is a good mix of his earthling ones.

I like this story better than the one where he came from the devil

Has anyone kept track of Dad’s Origin of Sterling stories? How many does this make? Wish I’d kept a list!

Seagull was in this story! With an instant understanding of Sterling.

Well he isn’t human, that’s for sure. Maybe he’s our secret weapon?

Be afraid, be very afraid…

“I can still destroy this world!” If Sterling does do that, he will destroy his own future world before it exists. The paradox from that may destroy the entire universe.

Looks like the fishing was good – those little XXs over the eyes..!

Sterling’s optimism is surprisingly frightening.

I love the way Will depicts present, past and future in the single middle frame! Wallace is within the circle which is the present. The people delivering Sterling are within their glass time-pod(?). Dad moves out of the present (with a dead fish!) by crossing the circle to remember the past and Sterling sails towards Dad from the future into the past (I can hear the Jetson sound effect). It’s an absolutely brilliant single-frame that completely tells an amazing story!!!!

The container that Sterling is in reminds me of the Jetsons, too.

For Sterling, fire is more fun than advanced weapons from the future.

Sterling inherited his mother’s penchant for chaos (though she tries to hide it) and his father’s sense of humor.

So, Sterling is a future super villain?!?!

So Sterling is actually an Irishman from the future?

I thought Sterling was already an advanced weapon. :)

Another Sterling origin story.

So this is origin number 4 or 5 for Sterling? I wonder if any of them are true.

I 100% read this as Sterling being the advanced weapon from the future and it still made perfect sense.

Second Panel – Isn’t the father’s elbow exceptionally (almost freakishly) low? Or his wrist is bending exceptionally (almost freakishly) high?

I guess we’re all safe.

Just noticed: Sterling looks like Dad; Wallace looks like Mom.

That explains a lot.

I love his stories. They are hilarious.
