I cannot believe how invested I am in the story of the possessed ice cream truck.

One reason I love this strip is the really exceptional art, and today’s strip is a great example. The expressions, shading, layout and details are terrific.

They should at least get ice cream first!

The original point was not to kill the ice cream truck, but just to get some ice cream. If the truck had just bothered to stop and sell them some ice cream, they’d never have had to resort to such extreme measures. Is anyone in the strip ever going to reveal why the d@mn truck doesn’t want to sell them ice cream?

I love the whole feel of Crabgrass. The characters, the drawing… I could see this as an animated movie. Plus it has ice cream!
