A news story this morning is about features of a new hospital in Duluth. One of the features is they are using TUG robots. They don’t look human. Looks like most or all of the work they do is moving carts.
Looks the thing on its chest isn’t a name plate. It’s a screen. Thoughtful of the designers to have the screen there so the robot can communicate with deaf and heard-of-hearing.
For the second day in a row, GA is the featured strip on the Comics Curmudgeon. Starting to get up there with “Mary Worth” and “Family Circus” with frequency of appearance.
“Look, I’m not saying I’m in favor of the Machines declaring themselves “superior” and then forcing us to consume medications of an unspecified variety. What I am saying is, maybe we should let them start with Rufus and Joel just to see what we’re up against before we really start working to get the resistence up to speed.”
The robot looks a bit like Rosie from “The Jetsons” to me…. I recommend you take a deep pull from your pipe, Joel… it will help settle your nerves during this crazy ride you are on.

I’m not sure how taking a pill will fix a head injury.

I never gripe about the disproportionate amount of arcs that revolve around Joel and Rufus, but this arc has taken bizarre, if not unfortunate, turn.

“Please take these so we can complete your euthanasia. We need this room for a better patient.”

As Mike Muir astutely observed some years ago, “We have decided what’s in yout best interests”.
