Next time I go to Costco I’ll look that McDs up. I go once a year, maybe I’ll make the trip twice this year

I always thought that fish were the only ones who liked Wigglies. We used to spend the whole morning gathering the little wormy critters just so the fish could … oh, you said Wrigley’s. Never mind. ~ Emily Litella

May the stored be with you as they are with Curt Gowdy. And gesundheit.

So many years ago, I was a chicken cook at a KFC in Ontario. The restaurant was old, not one for fast food, so some of the employees, older ladies would make chicken pies and soup out of the leftovers (the 1/2 tray that as a cook I was allowed for waste at the end of the day) and serve it. This was an all you could eat buffet, so the extra ingredients where available.

McPizza existed for several years in Canada. Problem was that the crust was too soft and impossible to hold, plus it got cold way too fast.

That story of gear changing by Wrigglies into chewing gum from other products sounds like the Lance story surrounding their TOKEN peanut butter cookies. It seems in the production process, they received an order of wrappers with what was supposed to be printing of their famous TOKEN label. But, noone noticed that the labels read NEKOT, the reverse of TOKEN. So the product went out to the public and it was a tremendous success. So, now we gladly eat NEKOT peanut sandwich cookies, and Lance enjoys their sales straight to the bank.

Wrigley’s had a factory in Santa Cruz, CA. In the 1980s it was taken over by Lipton. What it is now I do not know.

Well, when I was working at McD’s, there were some locations that did sell pizza, but I think it was only by the slice. My location never had it. People would ask me if we had it. And I couldn’t really imagine a pizza from McD’s being all that great. When you’re getting a certain food at a place that isn’t know for it, it usually isn’t. It’s like going going out of NY State and getting Buffalo wings. They usually aren’t too good. Heck, even certain places within NY don’t make good ones. You almost have to get them right in Buffalo.

The biggest MickyD’s use to be the one inside the Air and Space Museum in DC, 76 check out registers. This was before 9/11 and tightened security.
