My daughter is working on a novel. She writes every night. She has folders of outlines, types it on her tablet (she has a keyboard for it), then retypes it on her laptop to catch errors. She’s wanted to be a writer since she was 10; she’s 20 now and a Creative Writing major in college.

The Grass Is Always Greener over the Septic Tank by Erma Bombeck comes to mind.

Don’t worry about it. She’ll figure it out by the time she’s ready to get married.

At least we can’t smell today’s comic, but some of the others on GoComics are real stinkers and you really can smell them, bad…
