With age, eating has become even more pleasurable to me. It has always been our main entertainment, though. Now fighting to keep weight off while really liking good food. Carbs!!

I got Starlink today! WOW. Even cheaper than my tower Wifi service and it’s great! Sorry, I had to tell.

Tonight was one of those rare occasions. Sushi bar welcomes are like family greetings even when we haven’t been there for a year.

I think that is quite apparent, if not blatantly obvious.

Not so much carbs, with age comes less metabolism and more sedentary.

To all the folks talking about losing weight, Planet Fitness is only $24/month. Lots of women have been going to these gyms! Also since I assume that most of you live in suburban, rural areas with smooth streets, investing 400 to $1100-$1200 for a good road bike my not be a bad idea. And find others that may want to ride with you.

So much for the healthy shopping that he did the other day. However, while he’s entitled to go out with the wife for a great meal at their favorite restaurant his statement of those eating to live raver than living to eat shows his true feelings….

I don’t know, Gladys. I not so sure being enthused about a dinner out is the same as living to eat. A dinner out is as much an entertainment, a joyous experience, a culinary delight. Y’all have a right to live a little, now and then. Life is too short to fret about pounds.

First, Brutus will need to stand up. Gladys has her jacket on already. It looks like a date night with some good food and time alone together. I hope they enjoy it.

In memory of Jimmy Buffett, they should go to one of his restaurants and have a couple Margaritas followed by two Cheeseburgers in Paradise.

Unfortunately, I’m of those “healthy” eaters. When you eat for health and not for fun, it’s just a chore. If I could just as healthfully pop a single pill in lieu of meals, I’d gladly do it. Just waiting and hoping for the day it’s invented!!! With no grocery shopping or preparing meals or eating meals I’d have SO much extra time to enjoy the better things in life, not to mention all the money I’d save on food!

Pretty sad when someone lives only to eat and thinks about eating all the time. Good for the lunchtime eateries because some people only meet friends to catch up over lunch. Mostly they are lethargic and fat. (err obese), (err plump). errrrrrrr
