It’s better to find a road with lots of hills. Drive at the right speed and you can experience a degree of weightlessness as you crest the tops of the hills. But don’t go off the side of the road or have a head-on collision. That’ll ruin your day.
I remember some nice little hills between Traverse City and Petoskey, you could crest them with enough speed to make you feel delightfully lighter, almost weightless for a moment.
Having been prone to carsickness most of my life, I’ve never understood the appeal of rollercoasters. I like keeping my lunch down, thank you very much!
The only times I’ve seen a car take flight is on tv (like Dukes of Hazzard), and once, in real life, I was crossing a railroad track that was in dire need of repair, and it had a large mound of ice built up on it. I like the idea of keeping my truck for awhile, so I approached it slowly. The guy in the old beat up bronco coming in the other direction?? Not so much. He hit it so fast all 4 tires left the ground, and he was a huge fella to boot, so when he hit terra firma, I can’t imagine what that felt like! (funny part is, right next to the tracks is a metal recycling center that also accepts vehicles…I wonder if he just limped into there, took the hundred bucks, and walked home! Lol!)
The street before my son’s cul-de-sac has “traffic calming”, little speed bumps with a jog in the road, intended to slow drivers down. It is not calming.
I remember as a kid (’50’s-’60’s), that there were a couple of roads that had those Weeeeee bumps or hills where as you went over, gave that sensation …… :)

In which case, some pluggers should close their mouths so they don’t lose their false teeth.

My dad loved to sail on the hilly roads, I’m sure the neighbors loved it.

Did that once when boys were young, Except it was a raised railroad crossing . Flew in air but when I hit ground i broke oil pan. Expensive trick!

Speed bumps are okay in the car, but the van’s suspension is rather stiff.

The “roller coaster” should be the country road you live on.

Pluggers are much more likely to complain about their back hurting after going over those bumps.

In both Jamaica and Japan speed bumps are called Sleeping Policemen.

Railroad crossings can be fun too. It depends on how worn out they are.
