How many billions upon billions has Israel gotten so far? Not that Zelensky should have been given one red cent of American Taxpayer money… Lend / Lease worked fine in WW2. Read the first LINE of this: >

Perhaps those suggesting a moderate response mean that the Israelis ought to resist the impulse to wipe the Palestinians off the face of the Earth.

Democrats are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, eugenics, and now some want you to join them and support the genocide of the Jews. Could their goal be to be worse than Nazis of WW II?

This is another false equivalence that the right wants to just accept as reality. What does “victory” look like in Ukraine vs. Russia? Relatively easy to define: Russia gets out of Ukraine. What does “victory” look like for Israel? Gaza is Palestinian and reprehensible as Hamas and their actions are they likely will always maintain some influence there.

So, in all seriousness, someone on the right, please define, what does a victory for Israel looks like?

As far as I can tell one rep, Rep. Tlaib, who is of Palestinian background, has said – this is terrible, let’s try to calm things down before it get’s worse. The vast majority of Democrats are supporting Israel as they always have.

Well, we all know the liberal mantra, peace, not war, falls on deaf ears when all a people can do is move to a place that isn’t being bombed. And all I hear from both Dems and Repubs is support Israel, get their back, by supplying them with even more weapons. Noone is thinking about peace, or our role in setting up this slaughter. Yes, we are very complicit in this carnage by our turning a deaf ear to the Israeli government’s role in driving the Palestinians to the wall, leaving them no alternative but a war they can’t win. And if terrorism is their means of war, and I too deplore this type of response, with the out and out murder of the most innocent, I can also see the cause of this madness. The Israeli governments apartheid like treatment of the Palestinians, a people Jews largely despise, but need as a cheap workforce. And, we, the touters of freedom for all, the promoters of democracy, have been supporting the apartheid government of Israel, and turning a deaf ear and blind eye to the calls for justice for the Palestinian people.

Violence begets violence. Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind.

This conflict has been going on for generations… more aggression and violence won’t stop it.

You can defend yourself without having to “fight back”.

And if your concept of “fighting back” ONLY includes hunting down and killing the terrorists, I still say that it is counterproductive in the long run… but that isn’t really the problem. The problem is that innocent civilians ALWAYS get caught in the crossfire. Often deliberately.

I see you also failed to criticize Israel. In 2011, Israel traded more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners for a single soldier, Gilad Shalit. One of those released prisoners is now the leader of Hamas. Of course, neither this piece of news nor your political propaganda cartoon means anything. The choice to commit this heinous act rests solely on Hamas. They are the hate-filled people who choose to murder innocents.

Israel has received far more money from the U.S. than anyone else, and that in spite of Netanyahu violating Israel’s agreements.

Micah Goodman, an Israeli, argues that Jews have a great and justifiable fear of Arabs. Arabs do not fear Jews, but hold deep resentment of humiliation. So here we are yet again. The fear of Arabs has been justified (in spite of the fact that Hamas do not really represent Palestinians let alone a majority of Arabs). And subsequently Hamas is now about to be humiliated.

Yeah, Tlaib, Corey Bush and a few other outliers still support Hamas, but the overwhelming majority of Republicans AND Democrats support Israel. And this cartoon is stupid (as is often the case with this artist), since Zelensky is still awaiting further funding from the US.
