Today’s Republican Party is incompetent and incapable of governing.

It used to be that the Republican Party was just greedy — filled with lust to REDISTRIBUTE wealth from the working people who actually produce it to the few richest elites who allocate the distribution of revenue and, funny thing, decide that they are each worth 400 times the value of one worker.

They were greedy, but they were at least competent. They knew how to make government work (for themselves).

Today’s Republican Party is still greedy, with both a lust for wealth produced on the backs of working people and also a desire to micromanage every aspect of workers’ personal lives, but they are no longer capable of operating the most basic operations of governance.

They are truly the CHAOS CAUCUS.

The inability of today’s Republican Party to run the most basic functions of government makes today’s Republican Party a threat to peace, safety and NATIONAL SECURITY, from Tommy Tuberville in the Senate holding our military hostage as part of little tantrum to the House Republicans inability to even have a functioning House of Representatives when they have the majority to even being able to keep the government funded.

Today’s Republicans don’t want to run the country, they want to blow it up.

They are a dream come true for our most hostile adversaries — Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un who are enjoying watching REPUBLICAN CHAOS.

The good news is they can`t write any spending bills filled with pork. I think spending is the holdup. Too many Dems and Reps want their pork no matter what.

What an absolute gong show. And this.. is the group that decides American policies/direction? Got to make you proud the be an american republican doesn’t it.. or not. Maybe, (and just a wild thought) think the next time you automatically vote for someone just because he/she is a republican, some of them are just glory seeking idiots.

With all that’s going on in the world, I am dumbfounded that the GOP is continuing to fracture. Worst case scenario is Jordan becomes speaker and the government goes into shutdown in mid November. Best case scenario, the body of Congress picks a coalition speaker like House Minority Leader Jefferies and we somehow avoid a shutdown and fast track aid to Ukraine and taking down Hamas. Long story short, the Democratic minority in the House and the non-MAGA Republicans have to be the grownups in the room and turn this situation around.

Every Republican/conservative admin since 1929 has had a depression or recession, some had two. Conservatives have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, that they cannot manage an economy or govern a country.

Brilliant posts above, but somehow no one mentioned any of this. Must have skipped their mind.Biden disapproval – 59%. In their more honest moments, even the most dedicated Biden defenders not on his payroll will nervously wonder if in the future they’ll look back at this moment and realize that the electorate had concluded he was too old for another term — and he ignored the flashing red lights to barrel ahead anyway.

    A word from M. Byrne:

    Ah, watch out

You might get what you’re after

    Cool babies

    Strange but not a stranger

    I’m an ordinary guy

    Burning down the house

    . . .

Ah, it was once upon a place

    Sometimes I listen to myself

    Gonna come in first place

People on their way to work

And, baby what do you expect?

    Gonna burst into flames, ah

    Burning down the house . . .

Just sayin’…Inflation has risen by 17.7 percent since Biden took office – with Americans still reeling from the lasting effects of inflation. On a year-over-year basis, inflation under Biden has averaged 6 percent – more than double the level of inflation seen under any of the last four presidents.

Sad that there is no Republican leadership. The House could not pass a fiscal budget after working on one for months, and instead kicked the can down the road a short distance of seven weeks… and it has wasted two of those weeks (so far) playing power games… makes one think that by the time they wake up to the November 17 deadline they will have very little time to work on the budget (let alone any other bills on the floor or may be brought to the floor)… does not look good for us or our “leadership”…

Republicans Are So Mad They’re Airing All of Matt Gaetz’s Dirty Laundry

Republicans are finally turning against the far-right representative after he ousted Kevin McCarthy

Republicans, livid that Matt Gaetz plunged the House of Representatives into turmoil, have begun to air the worst bits of the Florida Republican’s dirty laundry.

And the Qupublican polititions are mostly afraid to make Trump angry, and so they are letting him lead their party into the swamp, to end democracy in what is no longer the UNITED States of America. Will they rename the USA to “The Divided States of Trump”? Slogan: “In Trump or Bust/We fake our trust”?

The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so. Ronald Reagan
