I read an article in Scientific American on the economic impact of age diversity.
The United States does not have a sufficient birth rate to supply the younger ages needed. There are ways around this. We can have a forced breeding program (universal abortion ban) like the Nazis had in the 1930s and 1940s. However, there are not enough abortions that can be prevented to create the numbers needed. Also people are not born between 20 and 40 years old. Sorry GOP, the “theory” just doesn’t pan out numerically. Doesn’t even come close.
Also, more women of color opt for abortion than do white women so, forcing them to have babies only hastens “The Browning of America” that the GOP fears.
We do not have an option, if we want to maintain a healthy economy, we have to import people as we have always done. Even if it means the “poisoning of the blood of our country,” as Republicans call it.
Fortunately, people still want to come here.
As for the Republican pet peeve of “Replacement Theory,” it’s happened before as the White Man replaced the Native Americans.
That is the problem with being so wonderful. Everyone wants to come to you. We have the same problem here in Florida. And I even try to tell people about all our flaws like hurricanes and mosquitoes and prickly pear cactus and a whole lot of crazy people but they keep coming.

Sure. . .He is the glib one who can use the ability of the force to make the earthlings not notice that they are aliens.

Considering some of the people who were born here, encouraging immigration can’t be a bad thing.

The GOP wouldn’t recognize them as aliens. They’re not brown.
