Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) blamed him for the January 6, 2021 assault on the U.S. Capitol Building, and former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) slammed him as a “legislative terrorist.” Yet Jordan stands a very good chance of being chosen as House speaker if enough of his Republican critics are bullied into voting for him. Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Missouri), on October 12, told NBC News’ Scott Wong she was a “hell no” on Jordan as speaker — only to cave into pressure and give him her full support four days later.

Does this sound like the GQP? Lets elect a Speaker that’s an insurrectionist. A total liar. An election denier. Never accomplished a single thing in Congress in 16 yrs. Involved in the Ohio State wrestling scandal. A Rump a$$ kisser and a total conspiricy therorist. Gym J Jordan. Yea, it sure does.

After the scandal at Penn State University, Jerry Sandusky was convicted as a serial child molester. Joe Paterno apparently knew what was going on, and did nothing. His formerly gold reputation was tarnished, and he died with this dark cloud hanging over him. But, Jim Jordan, who knew and didn’t tell, gets a promotion? If only politics had as many scruples as college sports . . .

Please don’t give him any ideas. I’m hoping that if he does become Speaker, the “hammer” is balloon shaped like a hammer and filled with helium.

Speaking after Jordan’s failed vote for Speaker – 20 Republicans voted against him – Speaker Emerita Pelosi weighed in.
