He just needs to go back in and he should be fine.

He just needs to go back far enough in time before it got that messy. Problem solved. What mess?

4 hours later. 4 hours earlier. 4 hours later. 4 hours earlier…

A cleanup loop?

It’s almost like a remake of the movie Groundhog Day, but starring a janitor instead of a weatherman.

When will these kids remember, a time machine is not a toy.

Looks like the same mess but shaded differently.

And then he met his grandfather… the plot thickens… and then…

If he went back 4 hours, then there should be 2 of them to clean up the mess. So they would be done in 2 hours, then go in to clean the time machine…..etc., etc., etc…………

And he has to clean up the graffiti on the cabinet.

I can’t deny that this strip brought a smile to my face!

First really good time machine joke I’ve seen in years. Got a real belly laugh from this one.

I guess you can call that job security.

At least he didn’t go back to 1955.

At first I thought this might be one of those SPOT THE DIFFERENCE installments.

Your the Janitor, you got a time machine, get out there and clean up all the messes we made in history. You can start with July of 1969, we left a bunch of junk on the moon. Then you need to pick up all the stuff we left in orbit. Also…. etc….. etc….

Time to look for a new job.

Grab a coffee, sit and watch your earlier self clean it up.

He went to the past. The lab was dirty again. But now he’ll have himself to help clean it.
