You could do both at the same time, although you might trip.
Kind of – ish.
Clyde just saw Earl yesterday. Earl didn’t really have time to walk across America since talking about it.
Earl lived vicariously through a You Tube video.
Less shoe stress.
So did you get any good shrimp recipes
And watching it made me sleepy!
I walked vicariously with Bear Grylls.
Uh no.
The World Walker reported his travels weekly in the newspaper back about 30 years ago.
I haven’t walked across America, but I’ve taken a few “walks” using Google Maps street view. Does that count?
I recall some fellow who accomplished the feat of walking across America — doing it walking backwards.
That and you didn’t have to take Opal along…
Earl breaks the fourth wall. HA!
Saw Forrest Gump RUN across America! (In a movie, of course…)
Osmosis.
Put Earl on a treadmill and load up a 3d trail walking app and I’ll bet he’d quit before he made the first turn. Lots of talk and no action.
""Het, Earl. Did you complete that walk across America that you were talking about yesterday?"
Old geezers do lose a sense of time and space occasionally…
Close enough.
Yeah………..almost
Some pretty Fancy footwork you got there Earl! Blister free as well!
YouTube can also help Earl learn to play the ukulele!
There’s actually quite a few videos on YT of folks walking across America
https://www.youtube.Com/watch?v=hRf5TqijJWM&pp=ygUTd2FsayBhY3Jvc3MgYW1lcmljYQ%3D%3D
Once again Earl has an explanation!
Reminds me of the cheap get-out-of-trouble meme used in dumb movies.
“We’ll just steal that 747 and follow the bad guys.”
“You can fly a 747?”
“Yeah, my Dad was a helicopter pilot in Nam.”
Absolutely, or an acre sized map walk will suffice and escape your Queen for a while.
Certainly equivalent.
I have found that watching people scratch lottery tickets on YouTube is sometimes as satisfying as doing it myself. And costs a lot less.
Earl has just become a generation Zer.
My friend, about Earl’s and my age, has biked across America. and also biked from Canada to Mexico, as well as various places in Europe. His wife drives the support van.
