Sad but true, rural private ambulance was late picking up MIL to go to hospital, they went for breakfast first. Ambulance garage was beside her apartment.
We went on a child choking call, the mom was still on line with dispatcher and could hear siren. Walked in with kid to ER and were told to go pick up child, we already did and are here.
Never lost a patient in my care, came close sometimes
