Let’s face it. If fairy’s didn’t insist on spending all of their money on boots, they would have more gold, right?

Dad walks in: “Sounds like the piano lessons are paying off. Now, about that creative writing…”

I’m betting that tomorrow or the next day, they will realize that they forgot to write all of this down and then abandon the project.

Fairy gold is literally worthless. It turns to rubbish/dirt/worse than dirt if you try to spend it.

Alternatively, “wealth or prosperity that may vanish as swiftly as it is acquired : precarious or illusory wealth” (Merriam-Webster).

Fairies are generally into stocks these days.

Insults will garner a look that is scary cold….
