My cardiologist should have given me one of those this past weekend after my surgery to put the pacemaker in. I had to keep the dressing on for 24 hours but it was itching and painful so I onloy made it to 22 hours, and now I have a couple of sores from the tape and I can’t put anything on them because it is too close to the stitches and under the dressing are about a dozen long skin adhesive strips over the stiches that will take 5-10 days to come off on their own, I am not to remove them myself, and they are driving me crazy. I am not a patient person so I am just ready for my follow-up appointment on the 12th to see how things are healing.

He did not say it was medically necessary he said he would like it. And sure enough, he’s having a blast.
