So weâve ALL been played! The meeting at the beach as kids, living together all those years. It was all a set up for Gus to sell Arlo a house. HuhâŠnever saw it coming!!! Iâll bet Mary Lou works on commission.
It seemed to me Janis was already sold, and we saw Arlo getting interested during his discussion with Gus.
My wife is still talking about places she wants to live â a new one every few months â even though it would be completely impractical to sell the house and move the three of us to another state. Cartoon characters are not hampered by such realities.
I lost my wife of 30 years and her kids from previous marriage told me I canât call them step kids anymore, you canât get rid of us that easily was the quote
When my wife and I were first married, my father-in-law told me I could call him Dad. I really liked him and he was a great f-i-l but I could just never bring myself to call him Dad.
Getting played here for sure. She used several attempts to use her wiles to get them to come to the coast. This one might do it. sadly it is not for the best for A&J but will work out well for the kids and the business. I see a retirement full of free labour ahead.
Shortly after i proposed to my wife her mother asked if I wanted to call them by Al and Gloria or what? It immediately seemed right to call them Dad and Mom. 44 years later it still feels right.
It just occurs to me that Mary Lou hasnât had a mom in her life for a long time. Guess thatâs why sheâs so fond of Janis. I was wondering why sheâs so eager for them to move there, but now it makes sense.

As I recall, Megâs mother is no longer living, so she has adopted Janis as her momma. Thatâs precious.
