I suppose there’s little profit to be gained by correcting the misquote offered by these critters. It is the love of money that is a root of all sorts of evil. That’s quite different from the possession or spending of money, which can be either good or evil depending upon the nature of the usage rather than on the existence of wealth.
They remind me of the fear demon in a Halloween “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. He was making everyone live out their fears – then when he showed up he was three inches tall, not eliciting any fear in anyone.
Whenever I had something tasty my daughter wanted to steal, she’d say, “daddy! Look over there!” I’d look, and it would be gone. It was a magic power she had.
A better translation of the original Greek is “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” And right before it: “those who decide to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.” (I Timothy 6:9-10) There’s nothing wrong with money itself; it’s just a tool. But determining to get rich no matter what is bound to lead to trouble and sin.
I remember finding a couple of folded up $1 bills once while going to college. It was a rainy day in the middle of classes and they were just lying in the middle of the sidewalk. Clearly they’d fallen out of someone’s pocket, but how no one else noticed them before I did is beyond me.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)

What has it been a whole year and a half since we last saw them??.
I remember I called them little Totoros trying to be evil.
or perhaps they are a type of Pokemon?.
I think they look more like the mini Totoros.
They are also shaped kind of like the Minions though.

Money isn’t the root of all evil, it’s love of money that’s the root of all evil.

Also, time is money. So anything that equals time multiplied by money is evil.

They try so hard. Maybe if they just ease into it. Like putting pineapple on a pizza.
