This week felt like a chore to read and finish, and before anyone says “then don’t read it” I was waiting for something good to happen but these jokes didn’t land honestly this week felt so off and poorly written
Y’all need to stop reading this strip if it offends you that the 30 year old strip is getting a little repetitive. Obviously if you’re giving every single strip a 2/10, you need to find something else to do besides read something you all are so indifferent to. Don’t give me that “well what if it gets better?” If you all hate the basic concept of the strip, you aren’t going to like it no matter how “good” it is.
….I thought this would be one of those scenes where Mr. Rosa starts laughing hysterically, but………as Burl Ives once sang: “A little bitty tear, ya let me down”……..
The comments section of this strip is filled with more whiners than all the other strips I read combined. “Peirce is so repetitive and unoriginal”, without talking about the strip.
I agree with people who say these comments are whiny or annoying. Reviewing all the time or nitpicking…it can be fun I guess but it gets old. I suppose everyone can do what they want however. Those are just my thoughts
I’m thinking I might start making monthly appearances here. That way I can let the strips come and then read them all in one go once the month is over. Kind of like the book collections.
But Mr. Rosa you can still do your art in your spare time… I know my high school art teacher did that, and had her art exhibited in a real art gallery…I’m glad she was my teacher at that time of my life…
Looks like a Matisse print on the wall? Being an artist wasn’t his original goal and it didn’t make his father happy.
In 1887, he went to Paris to study law, working as a court administrator in Le Cateau-Cambrésis after gaining his qualification. He first started to paint in 1889, after his mother brought him art supplies during a period of convalescence following an attack of appendicitis. He discovered “a kind of paradise” as he later described it, and decided to become an artist, deeply disappointing his father.

Mr. Rosa needs to stop wallowing around and get back to pursuing his dream. There’s nothing worse than living a life of regrets.

My students asked me what would I be doing if not teaching? I told them I would be working in the juvenile hall as a corrections officer.
