Luddie knows a warm reliable lap when he sees one.

Been there, lost that bet.

Luddie knows who controls the can opener…

One of ours will stretch out across both our laps every evening.

“Care to make it interesting?”

Our 2nd dog does that with the wife and I. Would spend the day in my wife’s lap but the moment I sit down she’ll eye me for an invite to come to my lap.

I’d take Janis’ lap every time,

Harvey will sit on my wife’s lap, Honey will not. Neither will sit on mine, too bony.

Arlo’s goo-goo eyes gave me a laugh.

One of ours literally splits time between laps as if on a timer. She gets up, purrs, bumps noggins, settles down, stays about then minutes then swaps. It’s endearing but also annoying.

Signs of a gambling addiction???

When I bet my wife, I prefer to bet smooches.

They made a bet as to which lap Luddie would chose to nap on.

It certainly is… With that catitude!

What is Arlo handing Janis? Money (as in losing a bet)?

Ludwig knows where the warm spot is.

Doggie Darling will only sit in my lap. Glad we don’t compete for her cuddles.

Look at it this way, Arlo. You are his SECOND choice.

And Janis, you are his next to LAST choice.

When we got Jasmine as a little kitten I tested her for allergens by rubbing my face in the side of her fur, then set her down to see if there were allergy symptoms.

Luckily there weren’t. She climbed up my pants leg to my hands & was purring when I held her to my chest. We got her home & let her out of the pet carrier. She curled up in my lap & spent most of the rest of her life there.

Women are radiators. Kitties always choose them.

My Hemi, Cuda, and Sarajevo always went for my husband’s lap. He really misses his girls. The three I have right now aren’t really lap kitties but they will sit beside us, although they prefer me.

Our cat would walk across my lap so that she could lay on my wife.

The boys like my lap, the girls curl up on my husband’s lap.
