One of my friend’s name is Sayid. I try and try to pronounce his name correctly but fail and he is forever correcting me. Best I can do is “Say yid” to which he says “Saaaaaayeeeddd”. When my Dad immigrated to the USA the guy on Ellis Island anglosized both his first and last name. Still few can pronounce the last name correctly…..so I know Sayid frustration.
A Chinese friend of mine once tried to teach me the four basic inflections used when speaking Chinese. I was kind of horrible, but she had a great time giggling.
A cat & her kittens were walking along . A dog approached them & starts growling . The kittens look really scared but the mother cat gives them a reassuring look. She starts barking angrily & the dog gets wide eyed & runs away . The mother cat says to the kittens “See kids? It always pays to know a second language!”

Reminds me of people trying to teach their pets English instead of spending sometime learning their language.

One of the whines that my dog indulges in sounds like a cat. Always gets me to giggle.

I had a cat who, when especially excited, gave out with short, sharp, loud meows. It definitely resembled barking. Always cracked me up.
