I consider it sweet that Arlo is still a work in progress after all these years.

OMG. Arlo is like my oldest daughter, and Janis is like my wife.

Makes sense to me. He cleaned up the mess he made. DNA testing is required to determine ownership of previously dirtied dishes.

Bravo, Arlo. Those were NOT part of YOUR mess.

Apparently Janis (as most women) sees the glass as completely empty.

At least he cleaned up his mess.

When my daughter cooks, I wash. When my son cooks, I wash. When my wife cooks, I wash. When I cook, I wash. I need a new career.

Where’s the beef?

What’s done is done!!

That’s not me. I can’t stand it to cook with stuff standing on the sink or counter that is none of my prep for cooking. Before I start I’ll load the dishwasher, and if it doesn’t fit I clean it noisily upfront. And while cooking I stuff used tools and bowls I don’t need any more in the dishwasher, too. Or clean it silently.

So after I cooked our kitchen usually is cleaner that before.

How do we know that one or 2 or all 3 of those glasses aren’t Arlo’s? You really think Janis would leave a dirty glass out 3 times in a day?

Oh Arlo, how long have you been married? I am pretty much the cook in our house but my wife tends to leave glasses around but I do pick them up and clean them.

Good boys get a treat.

When my Mother cooked, she would wash dishes as she went along so the dishwasher had very little to wash. The dishwasher was me. I miss her !!!!

What a perfect cartoon! The husband learns a little to see around his blinders . . but the irony that follows . . !

Man Rule: If the man didn’t dirty it, he doesn’t have to clean it. Having said that I’m also guilty of cleaning up behind my wife and cleaning things she’s not done with.

Of course he didn’t wash them. He is a male. lol

OK, apparently someone has been peeking through my windows. Lol

Why couldn’t she have been happy with all the work he did and not find fault?

My wife cooks (she is fantastic), I clean (get the job done) – it works.
