There was a system programmer at one place I worked who, when us lowly application programmers complained that the system was running slow, would say “Yep, it’s running slower than pig snot in February!”.

We’re missing out on the frozen snot here in Minnesota too. Record highs in the forecast. We could hit 50 before February. Shameful! :-P

I did love good frigid winter weather as a kid. The less so the older I get.

What’s even more disappointing Hammie, you will never know the joy of freezing yourself to a bush when you pee on it in sub-zero weather.

Frozen snot is over-rated.

If Hammie had to feed livestock in sub zero weather, he would have a much different perspective.

You haven’t lived until you’ve gone running in a -25F windchill with your goggles steaming up and your scarf frozen solid in the shape of your lips.

I’ve work at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and I know for a fact their is no joy unfrozen SNOT! Especially when I sneezed into the face protection for the cold. The freeze is instantaneous and uncomfortable.

Where do they live anyway? Anyone know? They have a tiled roof so I am assuming AZ, CA, NV?

Kid, you may think you want that, but you REALLY don’t.

Been there (-43 degrees), done that, frozen snot is not pleasant. Neither was the frozen mustache.

I’m in Wanda’s camp. I don’t mind the cold of winter, but I’m long past the age where snow holds any joy for me. Just stuff that I have to clear off the car and worry about slipping on.

No, the rest of the country is not having a “real winter”
