When I was a kid, a guy tried to climb into Disneyland by climbing over the Monorail. When he jumped down onto the tracks, he got the shock of his life. As his spirit left his body, I imagine he looked down and thought, “Aw darn. Shoulda bought a ticket.”

Alternatively, Lio could have repulsed the English by hurling cows at them.

He must have borrowed the catapult from Hammie in “Baby Blues.” (See today’s strip.)

For a family with 2 adults and 3 kids that’d be $105 for the entry alone.

The trick is the landing. Right into a “It’s a Smallworld” teacup, 100 points!

Technology abounds. But isn’t Lio going the wrong way?

Who needs amusement park rides when you’ve got a personal catapult?

It’s really going to be amusing when he lands. Over/under on broken bones?

He’ll have fun if he survives the landing.

Ingenious, Lio — but what if this is a park where they stamp your hand upon paying the admission price?

Lio can afford to buy a catapult, but not a ticket?

This is cheap admission. Parks around here charge much more than that.

They grow up so fast. Soon Leo will be using his catapult at Lalapalooza.

$30? How long has it been since Tatulli went to an amusement park?

A Middle Ages theme park with their own trebuchet to boot – only in Lio’s world.
