It’s esoteric. Which way are the letters moving? Is “Trump” being added to “Party” or being taken off from “Party”? Judging from the “P”, it looks like the latter and the worker be taking it down off the marquee..
That’s overdue. There is no Republican Party any longer. It’s now the Trump Cult. He is their god and can do no wrong. Many of them have told reporters that there is nothing — nothing — that he can do that would turn them against him. And this is a substantial proportion of the US population. I will never understand how this ignorant, bigoted, repeatedly bankrupt reality-TV host and rapist became America’s Mussolini, our Hitler. I hope he meets the same fate that they did, but without the war.
They’ve said that with his daughter-in-law as head of the party, they’ll only spend money on Trump, and not on any “downstream” candidates.
You know what that means? They really expect him to become a dictator in the most powerful sense, so that the composition of Congress won’t matter at all.
Trump often shows us that he knows well how to ruin a business. One hopes that his machinations have the same effect on the GOP — or rather, what passes for the GOP nowadays.
You know, the problem with wishing for the Republican Party’s demise, as many of us did, is what replaces it? Turns out its Trump. Not sure that was a good trade… I wish I had viable options to exercise my independence on. Democrats have their flaws, but at least they’re sane and reasonably competent. Republicans used to be the same, just with different flaws. The idea is (was) to pick the best parts of both, to get a better whole.
Fleeing GOP lawmakers ’can’t be more excited to get out’:
Multiple high-profile Republicans — including Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Ken Buck (R-CO), and Mark Green (R-TN) — have abruptly announced their retirement plans in recent months, and a CNN panel speculated on Tuesday that the reason has to do with the nonstop chaos engulfing the House Republican conference.
We’re coming incredibly close to Russia controlling all of Europe and China controlling the Pacific and Africa. Why? Because Putin wholly owns Trump and the Fascists. They’re in the process of letting Ukraine fall, and when Putin invades NATO countries next, they’re going to bail on them too. That’ll give China the go-ahead to invade Taiwan, and despite their rampant Xenophobia, I think they’ll pick the continuous flow of cheap goods from China over protecting Taiwan. We can’t have the military overseas as we’ll have to have them here at home operating all those work camps they’re going to round up and dump every Latino, Muslim, and LGBTQ+ person into. That’s what you’re supporting if you vote for any Republican for Congress, Senate, or the POTUS. The end of American Exceptionalism. How pathetic you are and the lickspittle cowards in the Republican Fascist Party. But hey, better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven, right?

Send him broke and to live in Putin’s Russia, let him have Navalney’s spot in the Arctic circle.

Just like buildings, golf courses, universities, casinos, and airlines – that magic name will define and add value to a political party.

It’s OK as long as they’re taking the sign down. That “man” is a menace and must be stopped at all costs.

IMO They’re putting it up. If they were taking down, the letters would be thrown in a heap. Too bad.

At the very least, the letters have been repossessed!
