A good walk in the woods is good for the mind and body. Or, as St. Augustine is supposed to have said, “It is solved by walking.”

Nature does have a refreshing healing effect …water, trees, animals and fresh air to clear the head.

I live at the base of the eastern Sierra and love to start hiking an hour before dawn – there s nothing so peaceful as reaching a wilderness lake at sun up before the later crowds are even awake.

Good art always picks me up.

Such a sad human indeed. The dog is easily the best antidepressant, the scenery is the calm that comes from the antidepressant.

As someone who suffers from CLINICAL DEPRESSION, as caused by chemical imbalances in the brain, I would just like to say THANKS FOR THROWING AROUND IDIOTIC GARBAGE THAT TRIVIALIZES A VERY REAL PROBLEM! Which can and DOES kill people!
