That name would attract more babes than G.R.O.S.S (including Susie)

How about “The Hellfire Club”? Ohhh, nevermind… that’s a Duffer Brothers lawsuit in the making. BTW, my daughter gave me a three quarter sleeve Hellfire Club tee for my birthday that I’m now obligated to wear. This kid is obsessed with the show. I like the Hopper and Eddie characters, but I never liked Eggo waffles.

Thus begins Cal’s disorganized, sporadic quest for recognition as a destructive force. His way of using fantasy to ‘repay’ people who bully him [Moe] and Susie, who usually gets the best of him. It’s called ‘acting out’ but usually only shows in his times with Hobbes.

In these Woke times, alluding to the Icy Hand of Death as “Black” is taken as de facto evidence of Racism.

I think a lot of us are already in the Hobbes Fan Club.

A fan club is definitely NOT appropriate for a secret club! I love how Hobbes looks a little like he’s marching in the second panel.
