Poor Woodstock.

I wonder about this. Do migratory birds remember the nest site where they were fledged? There are swifts nesting above my window who have returned for the 5th time this spring. The record of swifts returning to the same site is 20 years. Do their chicks return to the area where they were born when it’s their turn to nest?

Man, this is a real sad strip! Poor Woodstock.

Mother’s Day should be celebrated every single day. Here in the UK, it always upsets me when I see advertisements saying, “Indulge Your Mum This Mother’s Day.” Mums should be made to feel extra-special and treated like royalty every day of the year.

I usually get greeting cards from Hallmark for most occasions with Peanut’s characters on them but have never seen one for Mother’s Day, yet. :(

I celebrate my wife being the mother of my three children. To all those husbands out there with wives that are also mothers, make sure to celebrate them as well!

Not for nothing, but when planes tow banners, you can only read them when the planes are flying right to left, otherwise, the letters appear backwards, even with the type of banner that Woodstock is towing. They are not “double-sided”.

I see this in just about every comic strip where such is depicted and I wish cartoonists would get it straight.

And yes, I’m aware that the letters on Woodstock’s banner look the same either way.
