I can so relate. I should mow my lawn this weekend, but I don’t want to disturb my co-habitants either.

I’m not sure this revelation speaks well for Butterfly nation… do they prefer badminton or tennis?

I have not mowed my lawn yet because I have not harvested all of the dandelions for my salads.

I’d like to know the answer to this mystery. How come Nate’s left hand is bigger than his head?

A baseball glove? But he seems to be anti baseball.

No Mow Mayis coming up. Remember our little pollinator friends are hungry after their long trip back up north! :-))

So the butterflies go to a different part of the meadow. I’m not really a sports fan, but in this case, it seems there’s room for both.

My take is that they should just “Butter-Fly” away. Play ball!!!

Meh, butterflies like FLOWERS, not grass. Ring the field with flowers and milkweed marking the homerun line and it’s win-win.

Mowing the yard might be the key to finding my dog.

Too bad the colorist had no idea Nate is supposed to be wearing a baseball glove.

I am one of the few people in my subdivision that does not chemically treat my lawn for weeds and insects. I want the pollinators to have a chance and some of the early weeds (dandelions and violets) are their early sources of pollen. Thankfully every home has at least 3/4 of an acre (I have 1.66 acres) and we have no HOA. The neighbor next to me with 1.5 acres also does not treat his lawn.

Butterflies rule!
