Brutus will back to his work soon: the eclipse lasts a few minutes.

I recall the last total solar eclipse that we had in my area, it got really cold and dark, the birds went to sleep and for some reason the roosters started crowing. Very bizarre indeed. Never forget it . .

I have a house there in central NY, right under the path. Haven’t seen it since 1996. Same tenants since 1993. AND no it’s not a dump! But right now I’d like to be there

His work ethic has been eclipsed by his sleep ethic.

Not much of an event here in California. Are you going to check it out Chip? Ohio’s in the path I believe. Anyone else?

Napping during a solar eclipse is a waste of a valuable moment. Though for Brutus, any sleep is a most valuable moment.

Saw the 2017 total eclipse. It was awesome . Pictures and video of an eclipse do NOT do it justice. The dynamic range is enormous. An unforgettable experience.

Brutus’ Sunny Disposition was temporarily eclipsed and he ended up Mooning the whole Office…

BTW, one of the first Sites I browse in the morning is the local weather. I thought it was so cool to see that, when the Eclipse is going through this area, the Temperature Prediction dropped by about 8 degrees for that hour, then went back up for the next hour!

Brutus is simply channelling his inner cat. He’ll wake up shortly and get back to work.

This probably wouldn’t look good on his performance review. Giving the boss, especially RV, more ammunition is not a good idea. “I’d give you a raise Thornapple, if only you didn’t fall asleep during the eclipse.”

It’s very sunny here today, which is kind of unusual. I swear it has a different cast to it already, and nothing is going to happen for several hours yet. Maybe I am just excited for the eclipse.

The thick cloud cover here has broken, but still some high clouds and lots of broken clouds blowing in from the south. Maybe it will clear in time.

Does he even need it to be dark to fall asleep? Are you sure he wasn’t already sleeping?
