Our new cat is one of the rare ones that doesn’t respond to it. Never had one before.

I’m sure my cats would enjoy this.

Happy 4/20. Before Canada legalized cannabis, it was a day that sent some people out in large groups ‘celebrating’. They saw no reason to stop doing it after it became legal.

I love the comic names and the comment names !!! Ok I’m joining in on the fun Gato Ganja . Our local dispensary Rize has funny names like annie smokely Oh and Happy 4/20

I gave some catnip to our cat, and he ate some, rolled around it it, and generally got high. About a week later, he was roaming the house, hollering, looking for more catnip. A real junkie. I tried to find him a 12 step program, but couldn’t find any that would take cats.

The first catnip dispensary strip was on 20 Sep 2016. (I’d add a link but GoComics no longer permits even modified links.)

Since this is “Catnip dispensary #3”, does anyone know when the second catnip dispensary strip was?

If you want some fun, watch CATNIP: Egress to Oblivion. It’s an hilarious parody of the ‘cautionary films’ we had to suffer through in the Seventies, done with cats instead of people. The cheesy visuals, poor music, and funny names for the ‘blends’ are all spot on. The film played at Sundance, is currently on YouTube, and contains a little reality amidst the satire (I checked and there really is a Sishigan, Michigan.)

My sister grows catnip in her garden for her cats. Since the plant is fairly prolific, she always has extra so when she comes over to our house she will bring a baggy full of catnip for our cat Haze. We now refer to her as “Haze’s supplier”.

They have to keep coming up with insipid names because every crop is different from year to year.

“Orange Loaf” is a cat, so I really don’t want to speculate on what’s in that container.
