I have read this comic for decades, but I do get a bit tired of Earl acting so stupid and Opal getting blasted for his being inept and men preaching that men should act stupid. Opal isn’t perfect either, but she does her share of the chores and tries to get Earl to do a few. She never pretends to be inept that I can recall.
