Hugs in the workplace are unprofessional

I recently hugged a young woman at work when she showed me her engagement ring

We seldom know what trials and tribulations our friends are. Going through … let alone those that are strangers.

I always felt great on the days I had chemo – the effects didn’t kick in until at least a day afterwards. The drugs they give you helped, too.

I’m crying!

That’s the best part about love and compassion. They are contagious.

I have good memories of a lot of the customers from my dad’s store and other jobs dealing with the public. A certain percentage of humans is selfish and mean spirited. The majority is at worst ok.

I tried to work at least a day or two each week when I was going through chemo and got asked by customers at least a couple of times how I was able to shave my head so closely that no stubble was discernable. I just smiled.

She rubbed her the right way.
