Well, it normally keeps you busy cleaning, So I can watch TV

My house is lived in. It’s not a show piece. Cleaned but cluttered a bit.

Antiseptic houses are like hospitals, clean but not hospitable!

Deja vu…my wife (and I) keep a clean house however when I suggest that we forego a cleaning every now and then I get the woman’s toughest stinkeye.

Just cleaned up my library, amazing what one finds!

One of the many, many things I love about my husband is that he recognizes housework when he sees it.

Regarding dirty dishes – I have a friend who insists – and rightly so – that the dish it not dirty, it has food on it. “I don’t cook dirt.”

I hope Opal doesn’t clean up his mess. I would dust underneath his stuff and put it right back. He’s not a child.

They’re just abnormal. I remember a true story of a guy who finally got millions on his lottery number he had been playing for decades. But his wife threw the ticket to rubbish while cleaning the table. He got the divorce all right.
