Croppie and her henchman are going to give BO a shove into the trunk and commandeer the Hatmobile for a mad and merry chase through the streets of Tracyville with TPD in hot Keystone Kops pursuit…

“It’s a cop car! Scatter!” Uh, Croptop don’t you want B.O. to take y’all’s suitcase out of his trunk? Oh, an arrangement was made for a later pick-up. Seriously? If B.O. gave you his address and phone number, I must have missed it.

Boy, Scardol sure picked a secluded place in the park to bury his loot .. a car seems to drive by every 27.5 seconds or so. He might as well have buried it in the parking lot of the MCU.

Um, to the best of my knowledge Croptop doesn’t know she’s being sought in connection with the bank robbery. Nor does Cleancut. She got her ‘Get out of jail’ card.

She has (supposedly) a million dollars in the suitcase, (Easy as the clues were, and since the guy selling it knew they were clues I suspect it is a box of rocks, but that’s another matter.) and it out of jail, and doesn’t know she’s being sought for a bank robbery. Why is she running? Tough it out Croppie!

I know this is trivial, but I’m hung up on why there’s a panel break between the 2nd and 3rd panel.

Could just be those new-fangled cars with the search-lights for headlights.

Why should B.O. flee? He knows Tracy and Junior have his back.

1-BO: Hat, hat trick, hat mobile, cat in a hat, Hat -tiesburg, HAT HAT HAT!!! CROPPEDNOSE: Just shoot him before I puke, Cleancut.

2-CLEANCUT: OK but I’ll have to borrow that cops gun. I forgot mine.

3-CROPPEDNOSE: YIKES! Let’s take it on the leg. CLEANCUT: But our dough is in this idiot’s trunk! CROPPEDNOSE: Oh yeah. HEY MORON! We forgot something. Wait here till the cops leave…I mean till we get back from what remains of our park house.

BO: Co-hat-atate, Hatfields and McCoys, hatsaw, hat-wit, old hat, HAT HAT HAT!!!

CROPPEDNOSE: Yeah – go ahead and try to borrow that cops gun – it’s worth the risk.

OT: Good writing week. I write because I love to see what pops up beyond the initial outline. In the new novella, this week alone, I’ve turned things around twice with new revelations, a double murder attempt on the leads when they’re dumped in the middle of desert, mutiny, a raid on a museum to steal a hidden data bank, and an obsessed and dangerous leader.

Amazing what eating too much Italian hot sauce before bed can lead to.

If they run off and leave the suitcase behind…well, that’s still less dumb th an Itchy leaving 50 grand behind in the car he set on fire himself…..
