Hey Wallace the brave fans. Me and my friends fan made Wallace the brave comic âthe best pizza ever a Wallace the brave storyâ. Is officially done being posted. It was super fun to making share around. Sometime today my friend should post a thread with all of them on her Twitter @eddledite365. Hope you all enjoy.
I love how Hermes seems to be just standing there~maybe he felt the Sterling vibe & thatâs why thereâs not much effort to catch him. The panels in a panel is beautiful! Oh, & then thereâs the thundercloud brows. I could go on & onâŠ..
Those panels with Hermes are the best! Itâs so great how heâs just casually flying along, âLa la laaaâ and then accidentally trips â âOh dear, Iâve dropped himâŠlook at him falling downâŠIâm sure I could never catch him againâŠoh well, back to Olympus.â Fuft is a perfect sound effect!
Sterling = combo of Ares the God of War/Brutal Physicality and Hecate the Goddess of Ghosts/Magic/Night/Witchcraft/Necromancy? Surely Hephaestus the Greek God of Fire and volcanoes would be a better match than Ares for creating Sterling!
âI fell in to a burning ring of fire. I fell down down down and the flames rose higher. And it burns burns burns, the ring of fire, the ring of fire.â June Carter Cash
Title panel: Relatively simple. Closeup of winged helmet falling (looking like a silver dish cover); partially out of frame at upper right, child wrapped papoose style, also falling (or suspended).
This is probably the most accurate origin for Sterling â Hecate is associated with magic and witchcraft (among many other things) Ares is the god of war.

Itâs so cool that the folks know exactly what kind of little monster Sterling is and still love him unconditionally.

I love the way Sterlingâs dad begins: âThere was once a child born to âŠâ â exactly like a childâs book of Greek myths.

All âWallace the Braveâ strips are delightful, but this one is even better than â well, itâs the best one in my memory!
And Iâm betting Mom told Hermes to get lost when he tried to reclaim the baby LOL.

Hermes has a strong resemblance to Wallace.
