Not that ridiculous. From the New York Times last week —She Just Earned Her Doctorate at 17. Now, She’ll Go to the Prom.Dorothy Jean Tillman II of Chicago made history as the youngest person to earn a doctoral degree in integrated behavioral health at Arizona State University.
Many moons ago (50+ years), I worked with a PhD in physics from Harvard who looked like he was 15, even when dressed in suit and tie. He was definitely in his early 30s.
Dr. Baxter. Smart people are amazing. I know of a guy who went through Princeton in three years. Then he got a Rhodes Scholarship so he went to med school at Oxford University. Then he did his medical specialization at Yale. Oops, gotta go, time to mow the lawn.
I know someone who has a background in psychology, has one doctorate, currently working on another, a master’s in a related field, a hypnotherapist, an ordained pastor, has blackbelts in multiple martial arts, and a gourmet chef. Seriously.

That reminds me of a Tom Lehrer line during one of his performances:
It is a sobering thought that when Mozart was my age, he had been dead for two years.

It’s the kid’s faux pas for not introducing her as “Doctor”. I have one friend with a Ph.D. and don’t you forget it.
