Haven’t had a pancake in at least 68 years, they were never popular in my family. I remember having them but they were not a hit

Waffles shape holds the syrup better than pancakes.

I have close roots to the Dutch and I’ve never heard of this pancakes on the head bit… Just because maybe one loonie did it once on a certain day doesn’t mean they all do it.. I call this BS!

They still have a monarchy in the XXI century, with an Argentinian Queen! And Max Versssttaappen… (I never remember which letters are double) So, putting pancakes on their heads is the least of their problems :D

My older brother makes the BEST pancakes. Fluffy and not over rivers of maple syrup (did I say that I am Canadian? We put that $%^& on EVERYTHING lol)

Considering the size of the Dutch pancakes I’ve had, it should be some serious insulation. Think pizza.

Wouldn’t that be “stay inside” not “stays?”

I thought that Dutch girl was wearing a raspberry beret until I read the caption. I love pancakes.

In Belgium, they walk around with waffles on their heads. In France, their favorite head accouterment is French toast.

Best pancakes I had were at Stacks. Banana, coconut, macadamia nut pancakes!

Wouldn’t Shrove Tuesday / Mardi Gras have been a better date to run this?

Didn’t they have an item about that French servers’ race about three months back?

I thought EGGO was the frozen waffles brand owned by the Kellogg company.

I guess they had to call it “the House of Pancakes” because “Waffle House” is a trademarked name of another chain of restaurants.

But I wonder if IHOP (originally called “International House of Pancakes”) will say anything.

I think it’s sad that we can put a man on the moon, but the font can’t put an accent mark on the ‘e’ in “Course des cafés”.

Usually when U.S. people try to flip a pancake from a pan it ends up on their head. I saw it in the comics a lot.
