No, but I do read horror novels to relax. And I used to listen to SCP Foundation videos to relax (for anyone who dosent know what that is, SCP Foundation is a bunch of online short stories that all take place in a shared universe and revolve around various anomalous activities. Most of them are horror.
i fall asleep with forensic files on. i know the stories when i hear them but not when i see them. it has been at least 10 yrs and still going now. all reruns
I like reading murder mysteries, especially the classic British ones. Somehow, the excellent writing takes away some of the horror of the stories they tell.
My wife watches them all the time as she tells me she often has nightmare about them ! I quit watching those shows many years ago as I sleep much better since I did.

No. I had a trauma as a teen. Horror doesn’t entertain me. NHK-World and animal documentaries relax me.

I watch ’em but not to relax.

My wife watches Forensic Files and real life murder shows, I often wonder if she is studying how to do the deed and get away with it.

I relax watching Star Trek shows. They have a lot of violence, but they have a lot of science focus and a tendency to have a positive outlook on life.

If I want to scare myself, I’ll read the news.

I watch other things to satisfy my need for fantasy wish-fulfillment, Aunty, but to each their own.

I do watch those, but I don’t find them particularly relaxing.

Oh, no. I watch documentaries about lonely, tv-addicted shut-ins.

After my charming job, I only read fiction now. I saw enough bad stuff in real life.

Stephen Dalton’s sleep stories on YouTube do it for me. I barely make it past the sleep exercise before the actual story begins.
