My uncle invented an instant coffee pill that contained the coffee, milk, and sugar to make it even MORE instant. It had no preservatives so, no shelf life. The pills fell to the bottom of the cup of hot water and refused to dissolve.

This strip pairs well with the very first “Dark Side of the Horse” strip (link at the bottom right of the comments).

I haven’t drunk (or eaten) instant coffee in years. Now I grind whole beans and make it in ways which take a bit longer. But I remember as a kid, I would mix the instant coffee powder really well into vanilla ice cream. Hey, you need to start somewhere.
