There’s always tomorrow, right?

Tomorrow is also a day.

Tomorrow never comes, because by the time it arrives, it’s today.

Well first he’s gotta find a restaurant where he hasn’t worn out his welcome.

I would go out for dinner every night rather than eat Glady’s cooking.

Because I haven’t found a coupon yet.

Now that’s more like it!

After all, tomorrow is another day

I don’t always like going out either, Brutus. I’d rather be at home.

I think Brutus is trying to tell Gladys something in his own lacking way. It may well be that she’s already blown this month’s paycheck at the mall.

Brutus should have brought home a pizza, hot wings and a box of chocolate (big box). Un Huh.

Procrastination on spending money. Nobody does it better. Baby, you’re the best……

Because it’s never tomorrow, only today…

It’s already tomorrow on the other side of the world.

They can afford to go out for dinner?

Quick thinking Brutus! I understand his reluctance, though. It seems that Gladys is getting taller so her appetite must be voracious.

So you’d rather eat what Gladys makes? Don’t think you’re gonna like it in her current mood.

She’s focusing on the wrong thing. Tell Brutus how good his favorite meal would taste, the ambiance of the restaurant, anything that he could not get at home, nagging wife for example. Instead of pushing him she needs to pull him along for a bit.

Tomorrow never comes.

Brutus checks the restaurant websites to see the specials, if there’s nothing he likes,wait until tomorrow.

Gladys can go out to eat without him, but I bet he would be in the car first.

Thoughts from an old married man:

(1) Brutus, Brutus, Brutus — haven’t you been married long enough to know that’s top of the list of promises to the wife that you don’t make and break?

(2) She might get her way if she just tells him she didn’t prepare anything, since she thought they were going out. Of course, leaving him to scrounge around for whatever he can find in the fridge might not be the worst thing, in his view.

(3) Pleased to report that last night I asked my wife if she’d like to go out for dinner. We both work from home and when you live and work in the same place, occasionally you can go a little stir-crazy. We went to a local Italian place that we’re fond of, and enjoyed our meal very much — and came home with leftovers for a second dinner. Take a lesson, Brutus!
