The last thing voters should do is reward the Dems for their lawfare strategy. Even if that means electing Trump. They have to learn the hard way that weaponizing the justice system does not work.

Make no mistake about it. Dems are the threat to our system of government.

This is a perfect example of the failure of the DNC’s engineered plan to keep Trump and Biden on the ballot. We voters are the losers.

No, they’re not. If elected, Trump will serve on weekend furlough-that should limit the damage he will cause.

There is no case Teddy. What’s the evidence of the use of federal campaign fund as payments? That’s the supposed crime, not hush money. That’s legal, since congress had a slush fund for that purpose until recently. Fact….

Wrong, he could have taken the stand in his defense and talked up a storm. He had to behave like an adult the rest of the time, as any other defendant would. Something he didn’t do very well, and could possibly find himself spending a few days in jail for his contempt of court, regardless of what happens with the jury.

Even if there isn’t a magat on the jury forcing a hung jury if trump does get convicted he will first appeal, delaying any action. After that in the almost impossible happens and we get to sentencing he will be sentenced to house arrest at mar-a-lago, his golf courses, the campaign trail and ultimately the white house.

I do have a question. If he does get found guilty that would make him a convicted felon. My impression is that being convicted felon automatically disqualifies you from holding public office. How does he get around that?

Just wait for it. When he’s convicted, be it this case or the next several, someone will make the argument that there’s nothing in the Constitution barring him from the presidency. He can be barred from the local school board, but not the presidency.

Well Mr. Rall, you got the reason Trump’s numbers went up totally wrong. Anyone who watched the trial coverage could see what a kangaroo court it was. And also they are disgusted with how Biden is weaponizing the justice system to try and eliminate his competitor. As I’ve said before, the Democrats will probably resort to a sniper on the grassy knoll if this doesn’t work.

Brilliant strategy, Democrats! Who else but such political geniuses as you could have chosen Kangaroo Court-gate as the key event leading up to the 2024 elections? Bequeathing Trump the super power of turning all attacks into mass popularity?

Keep up the good work, Democrats! Don’t ever change!

Trump is not being prosecuted by Biden, or by the Democrats. And, he is not being indicted for what he said, but for what he DID.

The witnesses against him are Republicans. There is no need to question Trump’s guilt, he has it all videotaped or on audio recorder. Trump began inciting the insurrection as soon as July, when he knew that he had a good chance of losing reelection. He began the theme that the election was rigged and stolen from him and his supporters even before the election actually was held, stepping up that rhetoric as it became more apparent that he was going to lose. Once he did lose, his supporters filed 60 something court cases protesting the outcome, none of which he won, most of which were thrown out for lack of evidence. As soon as the election was called for Biden, he started sending out tweets calling for his supporters to gather in D.C. on January 6, ready to fight- or “they would not have a country’. He stopped the secret Service when they tried to keep those carrying weapons into his rally because “They aren’t here to hurt ME”. They actually believed that they were fighting for their country, and for the true President of United States against a fraud who had stolen the election. And, they greatly outnumbered the Capitol Police. He didn’t send any additional help, when it was obvious that the mob would overtake the Capitol and quite likely actually kill congress members, and refused to do so when it was requested.

All of the witnesses against Trump are his own inner circle; his own closest hand-picked advisors. He is not being accused by Democrats, not even run-of-the-mill Republicans, but by people HE CHOSE as his closest advisors that made up his inner circle. That is how Jack Smith got such detailed inside information. You can’t claim it is a witch hunt when it is your own flying monkeys that you sent out who are providing the evidence. Trump has been indicted because Trump committed treason.

Definitely, Haley joining with Trump has to scare the bejeesies out of the DNC party bosses.

I would vote for that ticket. To get Haley slotted.

However, it could be a toss-up to either a Brown/Jeffries or Casey/Buttigiege Dem ticket.
