    The funny thing is, I remember Los Alamos food being pretty bland stuff, not at all like you’d expect in New Mexico. I figured the reason was that everybody in the town was working at a government lab and had come from someplace out east. Maybe. Or maybe the pressure of working on end-of-the-world bombs just angered their stomachs to the point where they couldn’t enjoy spicy (and delicious) New Mexico food.

    Note: that was thirty years ago. Things may have changed by now…
